I work with adult women through life transitions, pregnancy and postpartum, loss, infertility, DNA discoveries, anxiety, and depression. I’m passionate about helping women recognize they are powerful and worthy just as they are.

I am transparent, relaxed, warm, and welcoming. I’m a real-life human being, flaws and all. If “f bombs” are your thing, let’s drop them. If you’re not comfortable with that, I’m here for that too. Therapy is YOUR space. Your time, your energy, and your trust are precious. I see myself in the passenger seat and you’re the driver. I know some great places to visit, sights to see, things to eat…but if those don’t work for you we won’t go there. You’re the expert on your life.

As a highly sensitive person, I’ve always been drawn to people and their stories. I want to be in it and hold space with people- that’s when I feel most myself.I have two neurospicy school aged kiddos (and I’m so Midwest I call my children “kiddos”), a husband who plays the banjo while I’m trying to watch a movie, and a sweet mutt of a dog who is the goodest good boy who ever lived. I love being outside, listening to music (specifically, my favorite song/artist/band on repeat until I have to move on), cooking + eating, reading fiction, improving my embroidery, and working on whatever is my newest special interest for the week. I’m forever renovating our 1950s Cape Cod, so don’t be surprised when I have paint in my hair.

The bulk of my social work career has been in nonprofits doing intensive home based therapy to children and their grownups, school based counseling, and perinatal-focused education as well therapy to women in substance abuse treatment.

I began private practice in 2019 and have loved the freedom. It’s been an interesting journey to be more me, meet clients “where they are”, and really “niche down”. I saved the boring stuff for last. I graduated from Defiance College in 2011 with my Bachelor’s in Social Work and a minor in Psychology. In 2013, I graduated from West Virginia University with my Master’s in Social Work in the advanced program. I am an Independently Licensed Social Worker (Lic # I.1700535) with a Supervision Designation, Certified Lactation Educator Counselor (CLEC), and am Certified in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) through PostPartum Support International.
