I specialize in NPE Therapy, sometimes called therapy for misattributed parentage or DNA surprise support. As an MPE myself, I understand the destabilization, loss of identity, and confusion that can arise after a DNA discovery. I offer clients a safe space to process these complex feelings with compassion and understanding.
I am an MPE and have worked with other MPEs in the course of my practice. I am intimately familiar with the feelings of destabilization, loss of identity, and confusion that come in the wake of the MPE reveal. I help my clients in California work through this deeply unsettling transition in an atmosphere of complete acceptance of whatever feelings may arise.
I’m a Relational Gestalt Therapist, so I use the here and now dynamic experience of the therapeutic relationship to shed light on the challenges a client is having in the rest of their lives. I am trained in EMDR and mindfulness, I am deeply trauma informed and versed in Somatic Experiencing. I’ve been practicing for over a decade, served for many years on the board of Gestalt Institute of Los Angeles (GTILA) and as associate faculty at Pacific Gestalt Institute. I also work with clients navigating family stress, late-discovery adoption, and identity shifts.
