As an NPE myself, and also as the grandmother of four adopted children, I bring personal perspectives to this area, as well as a deep interest in the individuality of each person’s experience.

My life's work is to help people achieve emotional healing, improve self-esteem, resolve childhood issues, and attain personal goals. My therapy style is supportive and collaborative. I have training and experience in hypnosis and a modality for healing trauma known as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing). I also use IFS (Internal Family Systems) and several other modalities.

Other special areas of focus in my practice are: recovery from narcissistic abuse, healing pet grief, and assisting with new mother concerns.

I am multicultural, offering counseling in Spanish, French, and English. I am a BCBS PPO provider, and also can provide a receipt for clients who wish to pay out of pocket and seek out-of-network reimbursement from their own insurance companies.

I have two master’s degrees. The first is in English, from Dominican University in River Forest in 1979. The second is in Counseling, from National-Louis University in 2006. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. I see my clients virtually.
